Feb 5, 2013. #1. In the last couple of months my 58 plate 35,000m 1.6 120 MJ has developed a really noticeable engine vibration at idle. Soon as the revs fall to idle there's a metallic rattling sound, and a fairly strong vibration through the steering wheel and body. Put on a few revs and it goes. Dropping the clutch makes no difference.
JackFi said: I did think this as 1.3-1.5 is a lot more pressure than 0.3 but seems weird its not constant fluctuating. The gauge is a stepper type with the vacuum line connected to a sensor which goes to the gauge. The pressure is read from the fuel regulator.
